Clinical supervision

I have nearly ten years of experience teaching psychotherapy to clinical psychology doctoral students including provision of clinical supervision and instructing practicum training seminars. My focus is on the development of psychotherapy relationship skills including observation of unconscious and implicit forms of communication and management of transference and countertransference dynamics. I take a developmental approach to supervision and training that includes focus upon integration of personal and professional identity, helping psychotherapists to create a culture of self-reflection and mutuality of purpose, and use of practical strategies to build psychotherapy relationship skills.
